So ist die weite Welt.
Es gibt Erlebnisse, die bleiben in Erinnerung. Selbst, wenn sie im Moment des Erlebens eher klein bis unscheinbar waren, schon bei daran denken am Tag danach beginnt es zu wachsen, in Erinnerung beginnt die Geschichte zu leben und Fahrt aufzunehmen. Schon bald war es etwas ganz Außerordentliches.

Veronika Feldbusch (Pooth), Marvelous Ms Maisel & Amanda Palmer lassen grüßen, eine Verruchtheit wie Amy Winehouse, ein Laszivität wie Lana und eine musikalische Offenbarung wie seinerzeit Madonna.. das ist groß, grandios, das ist schon jetzt so etwas wie ein persönliches Album des Jahres.

Ich frage mich ernsthaft, wieso dieses Album und diese Musikerin nicht in jedem Magazin auftaucht, die Videos zu ihren Songs nicht millionenfach angeklickt werden und überhaupt, warum

LUX LYALL

dermaßen unterbewertet, unterrepräsentiert und unbeachtetes Dasein fristet.
Hier passt der Spruch mit der gerechten Welt.
Weil, wenn wir in einer solchen lebten, würde diese Platte stets und ständig rauf- und runtergeduldelt.

Nun, gut, das dem nicht so ist, oft gibt es ja bei zu großer Bekanntheit diese Starallüren und Abnutzungserscheinungen etc etc.
Nicht, dass ich das Gefühl hätte, hier könnte ähnliches geschehen. Aber, man weiß ja nie. Und das Gefühl, ein ganz supergeiles Teilchen für sich entdeckt zu haben und nun ausschließlich im elitären Kreis teilen zu wollen.. tja, das hat ja auch etwas.

Irgendwo zwischen Barmusik, Bettmusik, Filmmusik, ihre Arrangements pendeln, haben cinematische Momente, raumgreifend, dann wieder klein und zurückgenommen, flüsternd, fordernd, mit poetischen Lyrics (ihr neues spoken-word-Album ist vor wenigen Tagen erschienen!) und schafft es, in ihren Texten nicht nur kritische Bemerkungen loszuwerden, sondern jedem eine ganz persönliche kleine Hoffnung an die Hand zu geben. Man muss nur hinhören, sich hingeben und trotz all der täglichen Differenzen und Schwierigkeiten, die das Leben so mit sich bringt, nie den Glauben daran verlieren, dass irgendwie alles einen Sinn macht. Auch, wenn er nicht gleich und nicht leicht zu entdecken ist.

Ihre Songs, ihr Album
Vamp
hat alles, was ein tolles Werk ausmacht. Und noch mehr.
Die Songs haben Drive, Tiefe, vermitteln Einfühlsamkeit und gehen sowohl ins Blut (Tanz!) und bieten ebenso genügend Raum für gedankliches Mitgefühl und entsprechende Emotionenen. Und diese Frau hat Charisma. Ausstrahlung.
Und wirkt dabei immer irgendwie kumpelig und wie die Freundin, die immer für Dich da ist, die Du insgeheim für ihre Coolness bewunderst, die Dir in einem leisen Moment auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Haus einen oberhammergeilen Zungenkuss gibt und dann lächelnd aus dem Auto steigt.

Woah.
Diese Stimme macht Gänsehaut.
Ganzkörperlich.
Diese Musik ist klasse. Macht Spaß.
Und unterhält außerordentlich gut.
Ist abwechslungsreich.
Spannend. Intim.
Ruhig.
Tanzflächengeeignet.
Eine grandiose Entdeckung.

Queen Of Sound

It is just the way all that life goes.
There are experiences that stay in your memory. Even if at the moment of the experience they were rather small to inconspicuous, just thinking about them the day after it starts to grow, in memory the story starts to live and gain momentum. Soon it was something quite extraordinary.

Veronika Feldbusch (Pooth), Marvelous Ms Maisel & Amanda Palmer send their greetings, a wickedness like Amy Winehouse, a lasciviousness like Lana and a musical revelation like Madonna in her day… that’s big, grandiose, it’s already something like a personal album of the year.

I seriously wonder why this album and this musician doesn’t appear in every magazine, why the videos of her songs don’t get millions of clicks and why

so undervalued, underrepresented and unnoticed
This is where the saying about the just world fits.
Because if everything in life would bei fair, this record would be played up and down on every radiostation around constantly.

Well, well, that’s not so, often there are these star airs and graces etc. etc. when the record is too well known.
Not that I have the feeling that something similar could happen here. But, you never know. And the feeling of having discovered a really cool particle for oneself and now wanting to share it exclusively in an elitist circle… well, there’s something to that.

Somewhere between bar music, bed music, film music, their arrangements oscillate, have cinematic moments, space-consuming, then again small and withdrawn, whispering, demanding, with poetic lyrics (their new spoken-word album was released a few days ago!) and manages not only to get rid of critical remarks in their lyrics, but to give everyone a very personal little hope. All you have to do is listen, give yourself and, despite all the daily differences and difficulties that life brings with it, never lose faith that everything somehow makes sense. Even if it is not the same and not easy to discover.

Her songs, her album
Vamp
has everything that makes a great work. And more.
The songs have drive, depth, convey empathy and go both into the blood (dance!) and also offer enough space for mental compassion and corresponding emotions. And this woman has charisma. charisma.
And always seems to be a bit chubby and like the girlfriend who is always there for you, whom you secretly admire for her coolness, who gives you a super-hot French kiss in a quiet moment on the parking lot in front of the house and then gets out of the car smiling.

Woah.
That voice gives you goose bumps.
Full body.
This music is great. It’s fun.
And extremely entertaining.
It’s very deeply varied.
It’s exciting. Intimate.
Quiet.
Dance floor.
A magnificent discovery.
